    Winemaker’s Dinner

Stay at the Napa River Inn. Walk 50 yards to Morimoto and join them for a Winemaker’s Dinner, if available. Otherwise, just make reservations and enjoy their fine dining. Then the next morning, sit outside overlooking the river and enjoy brunch at the Napa General Store.

The Napa River Inn is a beautiful hotel that sits along the Napa River. Some of the rooms have their own fireplaces and if they have availability, they’ll upgrade your room so just ask. The rooms are super cute and you’ll feel like you’re in a little cozy Bed and Breakfast nestled in your country decorated room but you’re actually in a big hotel. They have rooms of every size including the basic, standard to the suite.

Notable Place We’ll Have to Try Again

CIA at Greystone was a disappointment. Most dishes were extremely salty and the menu lacked creativity. The service was horrible. One person in our party continually kept getting missed with both her drinks and food while our bottle of white wine sat on the counter beading up. Others were served their drinks and I guess the server forgot to open our bottle until he saw us finally go reach for it.
